Really eye-opening talk. Ignore the title, this covers soooo much of what’s going on with social media censorship. Benz has a really outstanding brain.
Good summary of the ‘system’
Why I’m against the State. Allowing a monopoly on the use of force leads to market distortions. As long as there is a State there is no free market, so no means to correct for stupid ideas. The stupid ideas are defended by the State (for a price) and the taxpayers (the poor), via force or fraud, always end up bailing out the oligarchs who own the bad idea (bad business).

This video had me in stitches. If you’ve never watched this ex NASA engineer then you’ve missed a lot of genius
Big tech still interfering in elections then
They say it’s already solved, but yes, it’s worrying, AI will become another tool of manipulation for the masses, like the press, only much more dangerous since people mistakenly assume that it’s a superintelligence that analyzes all the data and gives the correct answer. Over time, people will stop checking the veracity of the answers and will take them for granted, in the same way that when you do a calculation with a calculator you don’t manually check the result because it’s infallibly correct.
The Weird Rise Of Anti-Startups
All we hear about today is big tech companies worth trillions of dollars that make big moves and change the world, so much so that many people that is what tech is. But there’s a whole other side of tech companies that most people don’t even know about, with unique stories that break the mold of the traditional Silicon Valley model, and they are changing the way new tech companies are built. From Midjourney’s and David Holz’s crazy wild ride, to the new wave of indie hackers
I think people already recognize that big-tech AI is being manipulative in it’s answers. It can improve it’s skills and be more subtle, but it’s too late now as we know it’s doing it already. No matter what they do to improve it, we are intelligent beings too and I expect we will simply become more suspicious and more negative towards everything. And as all of that inhibits economic activity - as such requires trust as well as hope for a better future; we can expect that big tech AI will be shunned by the masses in favor of local controllable models. Big tech will then refocus on specialized technical models e.g. engineering and medical related stuff.
Not sure where to share this. But worth a share (not a video)
OpenBB: A free alternative to a very expensive Bloomberg Terminal:
Just found out someone recreated Armor Alley. The first ever game I played on a Mac, such a good game.

Amazing video how this guy reversed a brain issue with methylene blue and other alternative treatments.
I tried methylene blue for a while a few years ago. Makes urinating interesting. Make sure to get a very high grade and not the aquarium stuff.
