It’s a generic Omni protocol tool, so not surprising that there’s no mention of MAID. I think there was at least a command for importing private keys via the debug console. Not sure if that can be done via GUI menus etc
Omnitrezor not working. Tested with a non-legacy account.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the latest firmware update.
It’s showing some sort of CORS issue.
I’ve created a new issue in Github
https://github.com/tektite-software/omni-trezor/issues/3
Last week I did over 10 transactions and sometimes omnitrezor works, sometimes it doesn’t… Try it in 5 minutes until it’s fine …
Edit: now it works again
Good morning
Does anyone know what happens to omnitrezor? I am unable to access my funds, nor do I even recognize the Trezor account.
Help.
good morning
I just checked Trezor and omnitrezor and no problem.
have you solved the problem with omnitrezor?
Has anyone else had trouble with omnitrezor?
I have a considerable amount of maidsafecoin in omnitrezor and I would not want to lose them
So far, except for some temporary error it has always worked well for me omnitrezor
Do you think it is necessary to withdraw the omnitrezor coins?
I just let mine stay put. It may get a bit difficult to move them, but I don’t think it will ever be impossible.
THANK YOU, I’m more relaxed.
I certainly hope so. I finally got around to moving everything except gambling money out of Bittrex just the other day.
A real wallet is just there for convenience really. It’s the math that makes the coins safe. The private keys, or in Trezor’s case, the recovery seed is what matters. A calculator can help you figure out that 3^3 is 27, but the fact that it is so remains, even if you drop your calculator in the ocean.
Yeah, you’re right, I’m worried I don’t know how to access the private address in Trezor.
You can’t. But it can be derived from the seed even if Trezor disappears completely. I don’t have instructions, but it’s possible.
Well, you’re putting me back in.
Hey friend, today I upgraded to the latest Trezor version 1.9 and tested to send MAID from https://www.omnitrezor.com/. It works normally:
You may want to specify you mean Trezor One.
Does anyone know why the 8000 satoshi fee in Omnitrezor seems to be a hardcoded fee? Its not so much now, but if BTC ever goes to $999999 (as many predict ) it is a crazy fee to pay.
I’m not sure on that figure.
How much is it to send a normal omni transaction?
I do remember when omni was first built it required 3 different transactions to be done as part of the send, I would assume that’s where the fee goes.
