The difference with Autonomi - explained

In the Autonomi whitepaper there is a nice overview of comparable projects. This is great to communicate the advantages and disadvantages, and might result in communicating the the unique value proposition of Autonomi within this landscape of decentralized storage solutions.

However, the current overview doesn’t explain what each category means, why it is important and why a project does or doesn’t meet the requirements to qualify for a certain category. For example: why isn’t FileCoin autonomous?

Therefore I started an initiative to work on this in more detail and I was hoping to make this a community effort.

The more nuanced and fair we are to other technologies the more convincing this is as well. Therefore I was thinking about adding additional categories such as network performance, speed of development, etc?

Thanks for sharing. Looking into it and it is definitely something to add to the comparison.

Lol so walrus have everything? Never heard about that

I think the default (in the sheet) is yes, and the specifics haven’t been determined yet. So no it doesn’t have everything.

How about a category “Quantum resistance” or “Quantum hardening”?

Yeah, good one.

And indeed the standard was “Yes”, I’ve added a category unknown. To indicate if it’s unclear and still needs to be researched.
