TGE will be late next week
A very solid Stages event! They covered the critical questions buzzing around the community. For those who were not able to attend, I think the formal write up will allay many people’s concerns.

Tried to join the discord but didn’t seem to be anything on there, entirely possible my new account didn’t have the permissions.

I don’t think so, but I’m quite sure all the same information will be made available here soon.
Something to know is that our token will be available at least in Bitmart and 2 DEXes, and there are negotiations going with 11 other CEXes. But not with Coinbase or Binance yet, as they would be just too expensive to get on to.
Well seems that after TGE there will be some sort of random rewards until emissions start
And perhaps most importantly, David was on Stage and talked about the important plans in the development of Autonomi, it looks like we are on track for success and everything points to a soft landing for TGE 
The team did a great job!
I asked if there would be a reset or just upgrades (of nodes/network) from here on.
@dirvine: no reset unless something unexpected happens.
@JimCollinson: TGE will require a reset of the network.
Me to Jim: Earlier, David said there wouldn’t be a reset.

There will - for the first time - be a transcript available (soon?) of the entire show.
Only proper as this was an an important event.
Honestly I cannot see how there cannot be a reset. So much dross, test data, potential for errors since we were testing. So much potential for lost chunks with so much up and down of large farms of nodes while there was under 40K nodes in the early stages
I’m not interested in arguing for or against, I just wanted an answer.
I cannot see why someone wouldn’t want a reset 
… there’s (except for @aatonnomicc) nobody who uploaded useful data to the network who might want it to survive but a lot of randomly generated data from maidsafe …
I totally agree there is likely to be a reset.
I think the point is that we are now at the stage where a reset is not 100% necessary.
Extremely desireable for many good reasons but not strictly required
if I understood David correctly.
oh - and Registers are part of the current network but won’t be after TGE … so there will be a reset without any doubt …
