Summary of FYEO Stages

We introduced the community to @TammyFYEO and @Brian_FYEO from FYEO (named after James Bond movies because they are fans)

Tammy shared that she had listened to a podcast that @Bux was on and was hooked to the story and vision of Autonomi, they connected and plans were set in motion for a partnership.

The teams had active discussion about KryptPass, their decentralized password manager - which leverages Web3 principles to enhance security and user autonomy.

Decentralized Architecture:

  • Accounts are created using public-private key cryptography
  • Peer-to-peer synchronization eliminates intermediaries or centralized servers
  • All data is stored locally and encrypted, ensuring that only users have access. FYEO has NO access to this info.

Core Features:

  • Unlike traditional models, KryptPass believes you shouldn’t have to pay to use your passwords. It’s free, supported by revenue from security audits and threat analysis.
  • Standard password management tools (save, update, autofill)
  • Enhanced security without requiring user trust in the platform
  • Users retain full control of their data even if KryptPass ceases operation. They are currently in the process of open-sourcing the client.
  • Dark web monitoring and alerts of leaked credentials

Supported by revenue from security audits, threat analysis, fyeo dark api licenses, and premium features that the team may build down the road.

Comparison to Wallets:

  • KryptPass operates similarly to crypto wallets like MetaMask but is designed for credentials instead of cryptocurrency

Autonomi Integration:

  • KryptPass collaborates with the Autonomi network to leverage decentralized storage for encrypted backups

Security Practices:

  • Avoids risks associated with centralized or cloud-based storage
  • Provides options like encrypted backups and offline password exports for redundancy

Future Developments:

  • Plans to introduce features like secure sharing of credentials and two-factor authentication codes
  • Emphasizes user feedback for refining functionality and integrating into the decentralized ecosystem. Tammy and Brian encouraged everyone to download Kryptpass and share feedback to their team.

Please keep in mind you can use their in-app feature to create a ticket.

Once they open source the client, I’ll definitely check it out.
