I see what you mean but the masses wont relate to ants making that the edu-curve too steep. Trying to explain the concept of SafeNetwork will be tough enough. Those arent ants to most, they’re creepy crawlys.

There is a lot to be said about sticking to who you are, if the network is as great as we all believe it will be then the masses will come even if we end up with a 
but it need not be.
I admire that in people.
But we are selling a technology, not a country & western music album. The network will become great when adoption reaches critical mass. We have a long way to go and we need to easily reach those interested.
The designer of number 110 submitted 6 new designs today.
One of them is number 605 and I think it looks good and might be better than 110. My concern is that maybe it’s not unique and recognizable enough?
Another one is number 609. If we don’t consider the version with a photo of a real person, I think that the logo itself looks good. It feels more unique and recognizable than 605, but maybe it’s also a bit confusing?
What you all think of these 2 new designs?

I agree with what you say but we will sell this Network at first and the people we tell and so on.
That’s how I see it grow… organically. From the tech savy downwards.
Once the hype starts the logo is irrelevant it just is what it is.
The lock be it limiting or otherwise seems more like a product neatly packaged on a shelf at Office Max. We are not going to be sold on a cd in a stationary store 
I hope.
The last one looks like an angry Jimmy Durante playing Frankenstein and Brainiac.
I like the second one,it represents that each of us is a node

I’m sick and tired of blue shields, blue ants, blue padlocks and blue networks of nodules, so I offer this knitted pikachu. It isn’t original but it is different and kind of appealing.

I definitely like that, while some may say its not original, there is no doubt that design pattern is fairly distinctive. Once you associate the network with it, its hard to forget and overlook it.

Just wanted to make sure I was interpreting it correctly
I think a network and shield for security. or Maybe we should have had Hexagon and network - this combination could be interesting.
Edit: it would still cover the most efficient space coverage mentality that @dirvine mentioned, security and network aspect.
605 works for me. It’s a network and it’s safe. It’s easy to recognize and reproduce. Let’s remember that other logo will naturally emerge over time, this one doesn’t need to be the one you’ll tattoo on your heart, it just needs to get the job done.

I’m not sure. I like the interpretation from @leonmeitor
but I agree it’s also confusing because it looks like the network is attached to the head of someone. Do you think there’s a way we could improve it?
And what do you think of 605? It’s simple and not confusing. Maybe there’s a way we could make it a bit more unique?

(605, 609) Its a world map. America on the left with Florida sticking out and central America and top of sth America showing. The right hand side is not so clear but assume its supposed to be the part of Europe (across the pond) , Spain and Africa below it.
