Consider it just subdomain.domain.safenet, pick www as subdomain if you don’t want to use a subdomain. Register your desired domains as public ID’s.

i wanted to pick a different name so i tried registering again. not sure if its the super long password i typed in or what but been stuck in registering mode for about 5 minutes or more

Right now, after registering a new account and clicking on “Create Public ID” in the Demo-App, it’s possible to enter a public ID that is already in use. When doing so, it’s possible to read all the public subdomains and files under that ID. It’s not possible to manipulate any of these.

The Demo App should warn about this and not allow to enter an ID that is already in use.

The first time I tried to register I used a 61 character password and it ‘spun’ for well over 5 minutes until I canceled. It worked the second time when I used all new details and a short (<15 character) password… coincidence?

It might be coincidence. I’ve had erratic results with various operations - some never finishing, others taking anything from a minute to five minutes or more.

The safe launcher is running and I am connected to the SAFE network. When I launch the maidsafe_demo_app, it never connects to the safe launcher.

I never get an authorization request in the safe launcher.

I’m on Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.5). Any ideas?

2 things:

1. Created website with template, but there is nothing there when viewed in browser.

2. Was able to register the same public id and service twice (on 2 different accounts).
