I have an old iphone 5 (without SIM) that could be used on my home wifi - if I can find the charging lead…

If you are using iOS 11+ then you should try.

I think it was iOS10 on that phone. I was given it for work use and was mighty relieved when we all moved to Samsungs. I’m not really an Apple person. Still, I’ll fire it up and see if it can be upgraded.

For me it was less about the process and just the fact I didn’t have access to a machine to build it on.
I have an iPhone running 12.3.1.

I just plugged in my Huawei P30 Pro in to my monitor and keyboard and mouse.
I am blown away by my portable pocket computer.
You know what else blows me away…
