Hey @JPL, It’s showing a white screen for me also, I think browser code may need some changes so I have created a GitHub issue to find the main reason and resolve this. Will keep you guys posted on the progress.
That’s great… it works (Android 7.0)
The brakes are on still and that trips us over the reset of IP address… while that’s there perhaps put the link for updating up front and centre as first step… had to seek it out
Step zero:
Visit https://invite.maidsafe.net
I’ve got blank page.
I wonder is it possible to see www browser see safe:// addresses and trip into the safe browser app? I’ve seen Twitter app bounce into browser and back but can’t think of browser to app is possible… expecting it would be ideal if possible.
That would be very handy! Also, being able to paste a URL in with the safe:// prefix and having it stripped off automatically.
The browser settings privacy statement link seems to link out… which is working fine but does it need to link out and not just display that.
Also it reads as though needing update… tempting something or confirmation of nothing…

We already have a GitHub Issue to tackle this one though it is tough one or it will be great if you can add a feature request in GitHub issues.

Opening other apps from the mobile browser can be made possible. Will add this as a requested feature.
Hey @Traktion, It will be great if you can add a GitHub issue for this here. So, that we can scope this for upcoming milestones.
Hey @JPL, there was some issue with the mobile browser which we were able to figure out and resolve. The fix will be available in the next release.
Also, I think the safe://safenetworkprimer2 still needs some changes to make it mobile-ready.
Thanks. That was quick. What do you suggest - making width 100%?
This browser works nicely on my lineageOs 14 android phone
Which keyboard does the application use on Android ? Should we trust that it does not send everything we type to Google ?
Is there/will there be a way to test apps on the mobile browser without uploading to SAFE? For static sites we could use a regular Web emulator, but I’m wondering about Web apps which use the API.
Yes that’ll be great or you can try some existing responsive template which you can integrate.
I’m new to this - would it be possible to do in CSS with media queries do you think?
We haven’t really thought about that but it will be an interesting thing to work on. Also, I think once we have new vault and SCL setup then we can came up with some setup for the devs to test their web apps on mobile browser.
Until there is something built in, you can put chrome in a mobile mode/size which allows you to test layouts, etc.
Hello…anyone out there an Apple user? We’re looking for a couple of people to test out the iOS mobile browser.
Interested?
Just let me know and I can send over the details to get you registered for the AppCenter.
Thanks - and happy Friday!!
