Project n99 - An Interactive Platform for Creators

200k … you dinni muck around. And how did this investment cash evaporate (if it has), in travel and high living?
Or on the portal? Or both. I thought the total exposure/potential loss was in the $50,000 range for n99, $250,000 if we include your private investment? If this is the number ??? it’s not good and i’m pretty dissapointed if that’s the case.

The worth of the BTC received (~90BTC) at ICO was around 40K

That may be so but not the case at time of expenditure.

In other words the coins were not cashed out until they were needed I presume. They gained in value, you can see the transactions and their values at time of cash out in above posts.

I was confirming to @John where his 50K figure came from

You cannot then be quoting 200k figures on presumption can you. They may have cashed out immediately. Or they may have waited 12 months couldn’t they. If you are presuming then you need to be careful with your figures.

Now since the ICO was some 18 months ago, I don’t think we can be sure of how much money they were able to convert the 90 BTC into.

Also I’ve seen someone claim that one person gave 20 BTC, well the largest spend to the ICO I saw was 10BTC. So some fancy figures flying around and it does not help the discussion when presumed figures are touted as actual.

Hi @Lee_Travis Is the website still operational? I did create a profile. I could use a place for a dozen or so friends to help with business, if not i will likely use mindsdotcom until we see whats happening

@neo you misquoted me.

Presumption meaning they needed them, not the figure accuracies. All you have to do is look at the ledger and compare it to the blockchain; these are the facts of all the addresses involved with the crowdsale.

@john as far as I know it is up and should be until the hosting and server contract runs out. I think they are on month to month.

@Lee_Travis do you know if n99 are in a position/able to offer white label versions of the portal?
For instance, for a local crypto protocols/currency group.
Could be any group for that matter.

1 year license for $99?

Do you mean mirror the site?

yes. so users would have the option to have a local (geographic, niche) branded version but would also be a user of the global site. So local and global.

Are you going to pay for hosting, setup a bank or crypto gateway to connect to site? How will you get the domain name? Would you rebrand it? It is a clearnet site, the database would have to be ported. I don’t know at what point is the property of the website, files and database the community’s? I have backups but is it my right to hand them over? And to whom do I trust that to?

The project should be open source and all the code on a github. Or has this already been done and I can just copy the code and setup a site myself?

thanks for the answers. Just thinking out loud really, that maybe being an enabler to others via a “white label” type structure could be a force multiplier for n99. So maybe you can have hundreds of sites with average (desirable, perhaps for the future) users around 30 users.

not on the Safe:// network, , so pay for hosting (early days) … until hosting pays you ( happy days)?

I don’t think you understand it isn’t an app. It is a website with a database. I don’t know how to wipe the database and give you a clean version. Right now it has like 70 members with personal info, emails and such. It isn’t an encrypted database, this was a test site. Even though there is a use at your own risk terms of service, it is still not my decision nor my property. This site will only work on standard hosting service as far as I know.

To clarify, does N99 in it’s current state even utilise the SafeNet?

No, but that was talked about much earlier in the thread. Making a safe net app was to be done after we worked out the kinks on a regular website. For a proof of concept. You all must understand that I am not in charge of anything but administering and configuring the website as well as writing minor code in php, css, html and mysql js/jquery. The program code is all purchased open-source software. The software N99 uses is premium software with support. You might be disappointed to know that but it was the best I could do given Tim’s limited resources and the fact I am not an app developer but a website developer.

It’s a wordpress site:

https://network99.io/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fnetwork99.io%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

So much time money and goodwill, blown on an ugly wordpress site.

This is the website https://www.n99online.net/ and I agree the branding for both are imho ugly, not my choice.

Also, it seems Like there are a lot of repeat questions and answers. Such as, it told me this link was posted before.

It must be a very elaborate communication, because it is taking quite some time.

We do not know if this project can be redirected and who will do it.
