Pretty easy, the first weeks deposited coin are inflated by 15% and so on for the other weeks
say equivalent MAID coin of “A” MAID week 1 and “B” MAID week 2 and “C” MAID week 3 and “D” MAID week 4
SO a value is derived
sale_value = (A * 1.15) + (B * 1.10) + (C * 1.05) + D
Equivalent_MAID actually given = A + B + C + D
Divide the 50 million by total sale_value and not the actual total given amount
Proportion according to each individuals sale_value
The documents say that the calculations are done in MAID and BTC is converted to an equivalent MAID value. So for your example lets change the values to an amount in MAID not dollars and choose 10,000 MAID as the value.
lets say the total raised in equivalent MAID is

Proportion of total sale_value that the person gave is
43000 / 1107500
Amount of PDC given is 50000000 * 43000 / 1107500
Because PDC cannot be divided then some rounding by necessity has to occur

Since Clike coins die after use,
insn’t the coin naturally deflacionary? because they would die faster than they will be mined because the hash dificulty for new coins
I sent some BTC to Omni wallet to use for the crowdsale. Is it normal for Omni to take forever?

Is the first week almost over? Do I only have hours left? I need to know this because I just found out about this thread (never even saw the first thread from 2015), thought this thread was about something non-SafeNetwork related, lol. I’m reading the most important stuff now, though for my potential time constraints, I’m not sure I understand how the weeks work.
Anyway…
If the first week is over in a few hours, I’m going to transfer some of my Omni MAID to the crowdsale, now.
If the first week is over in 12-15 hours, I still have time to get more MAID from USD.

The time is based on blocks in the block chain and there is 138 blocks left to be mined, say a day maybe

Yea, 1000 blocks per %bonus and with 138 blocks thats like 1/6 of the time already gone.

I think it will be at first, but the extra scarcity will push up the price, causing extra inflation. A higher price will also lead to slower consumption (in absolute terms), so I believe it will reach equilibrium at some point where supply inflation matches supply deflation.[quote=“Audity, post:131, topic:8474”]

About 18 hours to go from now, but block times may be a bit faster, so aim at 16 or 17 hours.
@lukless I haven’t read your issue in detail, but are you aware that by default bitcoin qt will send what is not spent by your transaction to a “change address” which you also own?
To leave what is not spent at the source address you first need to turn this feature off (at least that was the default when I last looked, which is some time ago!)

And Reddit does not use an internal currency. I still don’t grasp the need for that, and if I don’t then most potential users won’t. They will be content with an out-of-the-box solution that is simply an adaptation of conventional forum software to run on SAFE, with checks-and-balances provided as they are now.
If you have a compelling rationale for all this, I’ve missed it.

Regular users can ignore using the Clike tokens themselves, they are not a requirement to post and read things. They’re just an endorsement type to bridge the gaps between people in and out of particular web of trusts, mostly useful for targeted PR.

On Reddit you can’t boost any topic to the frontpage without asking your friends to up-vote as well. So look at Clike’s as a “booster” to get a topic to the top. And not only for a Reddit style system but also for a Twitter/Facebook system. So when SAFE is live and we have a lot of websites you could wait for some advertisement system to be implemented, but if you want to promote your decentralized App you would be better off to boost a topic that’s explaining the idea. And for users it’s easy to see and understand that there’s promotion behind it when they see several Clike’s on a post/topic/reply.
And regular users could use a coin like that as well IMO. What if someone starts a project for some charity? And you like the project and got some Clike’s in you wallet? You could boost that topic up in the hope more people like it as well. It might cost you 1 dollar to get the like (investor here, just dreaming 
) but if several users would boost a topic with their Clike’s I would be quite interested. Especially when I see some of the people out of my “web of trust” made a “donation” like that.

don’t send from exchange, send from a personal wallet on a computer or omni wallet like. You need to send from a wallet you own the keys

About 3 hours to go until reward decreases from 15% to 10%. If you still want to catch it, I wouldn’t wait until the last moment because you risk missing the last block, especially with MAID. Relatively high transaction fees may help (or not).
