Project Decorum - Crowdsale (Ended)

To get PDC on Trex the dev will have to get in touch with them and verify his identity, also they like to see alot of community involvement around a coin, join there slack and get a conversation going about PDC & request addition to Bill or Richie.

The ICO details should be enticing for them.

Bittrex is not good, PDC should be listed on Polo rather than bittrex.

yup, only poloniex, doesn’t matter how long it’s gonna take.
bittrex is not good for new coins, no volume there

what about Yobit. i think they are the fastest. get it there

still waiting for the devs bitcointalk thread…

No Yobit please
Bittrex or poloniex

What do you all think of Bitsquare? I think the software is amazing and is the first fully functional decentralized exchange. They have MAID on there and could easily add PDC. Plus, they are looking for assets/currencies that have a strong community behind them that will result in a synergistic force to help them as well get the word out about Bitsquare.

Maybe can think about Wave Platform.

And Polo would the best option, but It’s vary hard for a new token to list on Polo.

Maybe @Seneca should contact Bittrex → https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583854-Submitting-a-Coin-to-Bittrex-Updated-02-29-16

I would also kindly ask @seneca to contact bittrex to get PDC listed. I think that is not too much to ask.

I do understand that some people do not like investors who are trying to make a profit, but do you really think this crowdsale raised 400k USD only from people who have some money lying around and just want to throw that money at crypto projects in order to make the world a better place? That would be called a donation I guess?! This crowdsale was advertised as an investment not a donation. Personally, I do not have the money to donate a few hundred bucks to cryptoprojects just because I like the idea. I invest money into projects and do hope for a nice return (shame on me!!). I think this behaviour is not unfavorable to project decorum. Without people like me I doubt this crowdsale would have raised so much coins. I would like to say though that I really like the idea of project decorum and I only invest in projects I believe in. So I am not here only for the money … (I doubt there will be a great return at the moment with SEC at 500k market cap).

Also @Seneca personally compared project decorum to safex and attracted investors with phrases like “But with great risk come potential great rewards. – Also, have you seen what SEC did after it’s 50K USD crowdsale?” (Project Decorum - Crowdsale (Ended) - #48 by Seneca). From that communication behaviour I concluded that Seneca at least tries to get PDC on an exchange. I am not planning on selling but I like to see what my investment is currently worth in order to track my portfolio.

Also a little more communication would be very much appreciated. If I would have raised single handedly 400k for my private crypto project I would be addicted to make it work and also addicted to this thread and answer questions. But since I am also a student writing my thesis I can understand that seneca is probably pretty busy with his studies.

I already contacted Poloniex (due to popular request), but considering how long it may take I’ll start bugging bittrex as well.

I was already addicted to this crypto project prior to the crowdsale. Don’t worry, my dedication is definitely there, just got a whole lot of things going on at the same time for the coming weeks. I read everything here, and also got personal contact with several people through PM and e-mail.

You will get much much more of that  At least my experience has been that increases dramatically. Well worth it but does take time from you. This is a brilliant project though and I suspect you will get an awful lot of help, esp here in this community.

People tend to underestimate how much time it takes being present on a forum. You have to read, understand, clarify, consider what if anything needs doing, and potentially then do it - which is rarely a 5 minute thing and adds up and adds up. Multiply that multiple times… and that is just the forum!

If we want @Seneca to succeed, we will also have to let him do some work on getting the software designed, built, tested… blah blah blah. He now has a sizeable budget, but it takes a lot of effort and time to apply that and turn it into productive work.

This post is not a criticism of those asking for engagement. We do need that too. But what matters is quality, not him being here answering everyone with a query. It is also down to those who back him and who are invested to support it by providing answers, re-assurance based on their understanding of technicalities or their history of knowing @Seneca and so on.

So that’s the point of my post here. I’ve been on this forum a long time now and the quality and integrity of @Seneca’s engagement on this forum is second to none. He’s also shown technical understanding and clear thinking that will be vital, as well as handling a complex crowd sale that attracted an enormous amount of investment and interest: you’d think he’s done this a dozen times before!

So I’m posting to say that I have no concerns personally - I’m a very SMALL investor in this project - but a BIG supporter because I think @Seneca is a very valuable contributor for SAFEnetwork to have.

It will be the success of the project - real deliverables that make something that more people want to hold and to trade - and that is what exchanges care about. So by focussing on the project @Seneca will be helping everyone, and by helping each other, and responding helpfully to posters, noobs, detractors, doubters or just nervous people who maybe invested a bit more than they really could afford to lose, we all help each other.

And that, I think, is what Project Decorum is about!

Couldn’t agree more. As you might have noticed, I’ve tried to help several people in this thread with issues, so @Seneca didn’t have to bother anymore. I’ve helped @Seneca with hiring 1 or 2 extra developers, and next thing will be some indepth information about the project for the crypto news sites. Everything after approval from @Seneca of course. So I’m not bothering him much, only with very concrete steps and actions. And as long as I get his Likes on posts here I know it’s appreciated so far.

It’s all stuffs that me and a friend here (you know who you are  ) love preparing & doing, meanwhile we hope to free @Seneca 's hands a little, so he can do what he’s good at. Not meant to brag about it, just giving a few examples of how we, the Safe community, could help him.

If we collectively contact bittrex-bill and bittrex-ritchie on the bittrex.slack they are very responsive to community requests.
You can request an invite to their slack channel from here, https://bittrex.com/Home/Contact

This is the answer what i got from Bittrex.

Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we only add coins under active development with high community demand. Please encourage the development team to contact support@bittrex.com.

We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I’d also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin.

Thanks,
Ryan @ Bittrex

Yes I got the same response as Immeinen from bittrex. I tweeted them and also made a few comments in the slack channel. The more of us who do it the better though.

As MyLegacyKit says, there’s much that we can do to help the project get more exposure and attention, and much we can do to help take a bit of the work off his shoulders. Seneca will be a busy chap for the next few months/years I hope
