I’ve read very detailed stories about his past as a conman, quite difficult to find it nowadays because all links related to him and the word ‘scam’ are about HEX.
Quick update from my phone:
Google: Richard James Schueler, you’ll find some interesting links.
Yeah, he was the spam king, pushing dodgy penis pills and weight loss aids no doubt much other junk.
Then went to Panama and got busy with extortion and other such things.
I just dislike the guy.
I dislike hex as he claimed he doesn’t own the origin address, and hid details of much of the hex that gets sent to it.
Also saying ppl can expect ( I forget the figures) many multiples of profit is also a huge red flag to me.
Richard was robbed and blackmailed in Panama. He is the victim of the local mafia.
Richard’s exact words are that Hex was designed to make x10000 and explicitly says that in the crypto everything can go to 0 and no one should have any expectations for profit. So far Hex has done quite well, it is more than x500 up in 1 year…
Well that’s one side of the story ( the Panama thing ).
Doesn’t mean he wasn’t extorting ppl.
He blatantly was dishonest about what hex was going to origin address, when called out on it, he said it was mentiobed in a particular place, which was a lie.
Sure, but it’s a public secret. I don’t think there is any misconception who owns the Hex from the origin address…
Well he claimed not him, so…
Well, it may not be him, we are unlikely to know for sure, but what does this mean for us? Hex give us free money, we’ll use it for something good no matter what happens to Hex
You believe him, thats fine, your choice.
The sheer no of hex that go to origin address should IMO be enough to scare of any sane person.
I will be the first to give up on Richard if he turns out to be a fraud. But it doubts me very much, he must be a complete psychopath to be able to hide for so many years - I watched all his videos, read his books, wrote to him in Telegram, he always behaved like a real man
Hasn’t @Melvin just pointed out he already had turned out to be a fraud a number of times though…
All successful con artists check these boxes.
Correct.
These small inconsistencies are the red flags people look back at with that “I can’t believe I made myself ignore this” type of regret after things fall apart.
If he doesn’t own it, I’d sure like to know who keeps converting the hex to eth and withdrawing it.
Edit.
He literally owns / owned >50 % of all hex ever created, this is a problem.
Once Polkadot DOT is added to Coinbase it’s price will
Lol like that’s a good prediction, whoany this is NOT investment advice Dior
He pointed out that Richard had been tried and fined for spamming. In Bulgaria, after paying the fine, it is assumed that you are clean in front of the public…
You are not punished again and again for something you have done once.
He also pointed out that Richard was a victim of the mafia in Panama where he was robbed and the mafia forged documents to steal his property. He sued the thieves, but his lawyer turned out to be part of the mafia and they took everything from him.
So @Melvin didn’t point anything: he repeats things that trolls on the internet are trolling - no links to court documents or anything, just rumors.
