Network Statistics

So after finally getting my first singular 1 ANT from the network (lol). I am curious about network statistics. I’ve no idea how or where to pull this from. Can anyone fill in some of this information?

Node Count:
Storage Capacity:
Cost per GB:
ANT distribution per day:
Connection count (averages):

Maybe a few other things.. I’m not sure.

Node Count: Autonomi.com
Storage Capacity: Current potential storage capacity, mulitply total nodes with 35GB
Cost per GB: Try and upload something, cost differs as the price on Arbtirum netowork changes, you can try a command to ask for quotes for a upload and then figure out what gas cost would be, or you upload a 1MB file and see what it costs.
ANT distribution per day: about 1 per 500 Nodes
Connection count (averages): check metrics port flag with antctl, get metrics, ask chatgpt to make averages for the nodes.

Multiplying nodes x 35GB isn’t correct. There are millions of nodes that are being run without allocating that storage. All the benefits of emission payments without the storage overhead.

I thought this much. A du -hs doesn’t show a full 35GB allocated. I totally missed the stats on the homepage though! Once I made more than 1USD worth of ANT il test uploading n cost lol.

Also you could buy 10 ANT for $1, would be a well spent dollar for testing. Also you won’t get any useful information about total storage and price for storage in ANT until the network gets filled to a significant level and there is higher resource load on uploads. What you can at the moment test is the Eth Layer to cost when uploading 1MB data.
