What a fright! At first sight I though Brits were demanding government control over their data.

Probably I though that because on my country people are always asking for government protection. We have laws to protect people from bad companies, we have laws to protect people from bad employers, and so on. Everyone here sees the government as a father who needs to protect everyone from everyone.

Good to know that Brits haven’t the same kind of mindset that us :slight_smile:

Or problem is Brits trust government too much - they’re apathetic about government surveillance it seems (or believe the bull about terrorism).

Total control for the end user. The cult of the end user is one we all belong to. In this context stake holder arguments here are pure absolute total BS. There and will only ever be one stake holder: the end user. The end user is the only one with any rights regarding the end user.
