what funding? link please … looked around before to try to figure it out but didnt see anything…
i am also amazed that eth can maintain that market cap.
however i think some of it was from the extra btc that flowed into ETC, that allowed ETH holders to sell ETC for BTC and prop up ETH.
if immutability is not valuable, then controlled, permissioned blockchains sort of like XRP are the future at least in the corporate space that is likely true

Does anyone know why Omni has shot up by 369% in the last 3 days?
I hope it’s good news for the platform, as MaidSafe hold a lot of Omni from the crowd sale.

Yes, I think Omni has real potential, though their ambitions could be made more obvious - its rather obscure in their weekly blog updates and roadmap. Still it’s nice to see it ticking over; those with too much hype can too easily disappoint.

I don’t know if they still hold it, or if so how much if any.
I was slightly surprised to see Maid dropping today at the same time as Omni rising so rapidly, but I guess most outsiders and traders wouldn’t make any link between Omni performance and MaidSafe’s financing.

You might see maid go up a bit if we suddenly get confirmation in here that maidsafe does still hold a lot of it lol. I’d imagine that if we don’t know then very few people do, attentive faboyz that we are

I agree 100%. The way Omni has been handling their PR since the beginning is maddening.
I think their PR has been horrifically brilliant. Pull off the scam of the year–> go on vacation and celebrate → Stay out of the news and do just enough to keep everything going long enough for people to forget while sucking endless amounts of capital from a real project (SAFEnetwork) → rinse (push new name and management) → repeat.

omni would need to go up another 10X before Maidsafe got the same value of the “money” that they received in the ICO.
but still something is better than nothing.

Tried to logon to Omni wallet. Server error. Tried to check a btc address balance without logging on…loading…Says it all.
