Looking for feedback on how best to welcome beginners to the forum

Hi all,

I’ve had a first pass at creating a Start Here topic in the Beginners category.

I can see it evolving and being improved on but we needed a place to start from.

Have a look at let me know (here?) if you think anything can be improved or expanded upon. I don’t want to make the post much larger in case it frightens people off but I think we do have some grass to run into.
