For now I feel that the issue is in the pooling of the tokens in one system or the other and there could be a perceived value difference making it a regulatory problem. But yes if there is another ease of use idea they or someone could come up with that uses the wallet instead of chunk/file level would be good.
I made a statement on the update thread as my thoughts now. Iβd hope @dirvine and @Bux will have read it as I feel they will have thought I was dead set against it. But only had more concerns over it and the effects on minimising the negative side, and the community is strong and deserve the negatives to be pointed out and I am more than confident once the effects of the downsides are acknowledged the community will adapt.
David seems by his statements to be a fair way into the design of the Native token using a new data type and again seems like having the ERC20 token system is allowing him to have the time to create a greatly improved system for the Native token. How long, cannot say but doubtful Jan is even a possibility. Itβll need writing, testing etc and that takes time to ensure its reliable enough for release.
