Join the NEW Community Test Network (Running Now): "community1"

Use the settings here: http://powersign.io/safe-browser-security-hole/

That proxies everything. You need to turn the proxy off to go on the Internet.

Bit overkill for the testnet IMO, though I understand the premise and agree long term something needs to be done to fix it. For now, running from the PAC should be fine.

Adobe wants to get in on the SafeNet action?

This is amazing! http://video.xxx.safenet

BTW, where can I see safecoins?

It looks like you have activate.adobe.com set to 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1 in
your hosts file. You or someone else may have done this to prevent
adobe software from trying to activate. This program is then doing a
reverse lookup for 0.0.0.0 or 127.0.0.1 and finding it in your hosts
file.

Not if you add 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com to your HOSTS file, along with their other activation addresses (this is entirely hypothetical: just something I read somewhere, for educational purposes only).

Since the proxy settings use 127.0.0.1:8101 specifically, then their activation software (hopefully, but just for educational purposes) won’t find that.

It’s really cool. How about safecoins? Where can I get an idea from the demo?

Interesting… I don’t use adobe products on principle (except flash, it’s needed sadly) Never had any.

Holy cow. The pages loads blazingly fast! This is incredible!

@wes I am using arch linux.

More simple than using pac file. IMO

We will have test Safecoins. Not for a little while, though.

(There will be more raging from the speculators until then, but that doesn’t matter).

network is running really smoothly for me now, I was having some problems with my ID(couldnt create folders anymore), registered a nwe one, and all is good. Upload through demo app went flawless even though there was 4-5 subfolders and mp3s and stuff.

Really impressed that its still going strong.

I’ve added both, with suitable caveats.

Does vault has a “graceful period shutdown” timer like I2P has?

More likely it is just trying to activate, with no hosts entry, and its requests get chanelled out on 127.0.0.1 by the proxy.

@aenemic you took the game down?

I can still reach it, here: http://blog.chris.safenet/game.html
and here : http://bjarte.safenet/game.html

It comes up instantly* (as fast as the Internet), from another machine (Linux). I suspect the first machine (Windows) needs a restart.

  • So fast, the game is over before I can react. haha.

The only “problem” for me on windows is the launcher timing out after a while, restard launcher and things work again.

Im trying to figure out how to add a starting screen for the game, click to start kind of deal(click to authenticake with launchre to start mayhaps? haha). But thatll be tomorrow I reckon

edit: authenticake – i think my stomach is trying to tell me something.

I’ve had that launcher issue on Linux too.

The bigger problem I’m having is logging into existing accounts. Even now with ~30 vaults appearing, I get ‘Login failed’. I wonder if login is not preferred anymore than other actions and the network is just busy trying to provide for other activity. Will try again later then.

Existing as in yesterdays accounts? Or newly created accounts?
