Is API stability getting close?

It seems like the cli interface has been very consistent for the recent testnets. I’m wondering whether this is also true of the api in general and whether people could begin considering app development?

What would app developers need (aside from api stability) to begin developing apps?

The ability to upload a nested directory and get that structure back on download as opposed to a flat array as at present?

High token price.

You’re probably asking from a technical perspective, but I’ve been thinking about this in the context of how to attract more testers to supply more nodes for much larger test networks. And I think the main answer there also applies to how to go about motivating app dev.

Been talking with some others here about this and it sounds like language bindings would be pretty high on that list.

wow, that sounds like a serious regression.

Sadly so - going by the lack of outrage from others, I think this is something that everyone expects to be fixed soon.
However, just like the current lack of a DNS analog for XOR-space, its a serious hole in capabilities.

I am sure that the devs have cunning plans… I bloody well hope so anyway.
