I want to try to join the test network running node, but I can’t find the relevant tutorial. Can you help me? I use Ubuntu.

There’s no live testnet at the moment, but next time there is just follow the instructions in the OP, like in this recent one. Other tips can be found in this thread and the official instructions are here.

No - the network is not live yet, so you can’t earn anything - apart from the satisfaction of helping test it.

I also recently updated the documenation to describe joining the network. If you’d like more details, it’s worth reading the whole ‘Networks’ section, if you’re generally new to the whole concept.

Joining with your own node is described in the ‘Provide a Node’ section.

Yes - there may even be another informal testnet up later today - a community testnet - and I’d expect an “official” testnet sometime next week
