:loudspeaker: Announcement: Hotfix :loudspeaker:
This is a client only release. So there is no launchpad update or node upgrade. It’s only an upgrade to the ant binary and any consumers of the client API. The full details are in the changelog, but there are two highlights:

  • Downloads and uploads are restored to working order and performance is looking very good
  • We now support resuming on downloads. So if you have a download where one chunk fails, you can just run it again and you only need to download the single chunk.

For ALL Users:

  • You must be on 2025.7.1.3 or newer to earn rewards

Does this also apply to all users of the API or just ‘ant-cli’? And can you make sure this is clear when such changes are announced - we often see a “client fix” but it isn’t clear if this is just ‘ant-cli` or applies to all clients. Thanks.

As stated in the changelog, the change applies to the API.

We’ve since discovered you may encounter an issue with file uploads or downloads not working.

If this is the case, you may have an old bootstrap cache file from previous versions of the client.

Please try running this command:

rm -rf ~/.local/share/autonomi/bootstrap_cache

Then try the file download/upload again.

The old bootstrap cache file may have bad peers in it that is affecting the connection.
