I agree. It could be an ‘all hands on deck’ situation, with the team too busy to engage. None of us want to disrupt that. But from here, this ‘launch’ approach feels confusing and a bit alienating for those of us who’ve supported the project long-term.
If a ‘big bang’ surprise were coming (still possible), the secrecy might make sense. As it stands, though, the lack of communication doesn’t seem to serve either the community or marketing goals. Communication builds trust, and this feels like we’re being herded from one pen to another without knowing if we’re headed for the field or the slaughterhouse.
That said, maybe there’s something planned today that changes this. Hopefully, as TGE approaches in January, there’ll be a shift back toward re-engaging openly with the community.
