@everyone is a meta group that is used internally by Discourse. It represents all users that have accounts on this forum plus all logged out users as well. It’s normal that you’re seeing this “Access Denied” error.
I’m not really sure why it’s possible to mention the @everyone group. It doesn’t do anything, so to avoid confusion, it’s probably better to not mention it

And if you were allowed then everyone would be notified when ever you used it in a post. How anonying would that be.
