Because an email address can’t fund an exchange listing, or a Hackathon, or a code bounty, and so many other high ROI marketing initiatives.

I’m not saying that there is no place for social media or grassroots activities in a marketing strategy. What I’m saying is that to play with the big boys requires higher ROI initiatives.

Also, @moderators, I suspect a lot of these comments need to get moved to their own thread as they are not trading-related. I apologize deeply on behalf of all those who support marketing and all those who hate marketing for that inconvenience.
