Why is this acceptable, to the team, to the principles, to David? If it is because marketing, then do it when marketing starts and keep it for that, otherwise WTF? It’s so against everything the project stands for, and alienates anyone who values that or cares about their own privacy or the privacy of all those they interact with online and offline.
