Can't see my Maidsafe Coins in Omniwallet

Hi, I have imported the private key of my Bitcoin wallet address which I have used to purchase the Safecoins during the crowdsale into my Omniwalet. The thing is after it has been done, I still cannot see the coins. Appreciate if someone can help me on this. Thank you.

Check the public address in http://omniexplorer.info to see the balance. If there are MAID coins in there then it’s probably just a tech issue with omni… they happen from time to time. Either that or it’s the wrong private key.

I can see my Maidsafe balance in my bitcoin add. But sadly not in Omniwallet. Any other alternatives besides using Omniwallet?

It’s an omni asset so I don’t think so, but if you email the omni guys they are usually pretty helpful and get back to you quite quickly in my experience.

Taking a look now and I can see that my assets are not at their correct fiat price displays in Omni either, so they obviously haven’t been updating from the exchange feed recently. There could well be something wrong at their end.

Alright. Will check again another time. Appreciate your help

Just wanted to check that the private key is not in a WIF format (does the private key begin with L1?). Omniwallet doesn’t recognise this format as per this thread. If this is not the issue I agree with @Jabba that your best bet is getting in touch with Omni directly.

Yes, the private key is in WIF format. The other format is Base58. I’m using Blockchain wallet. What can I do now ?

The private key begins with L2

In the other thread I linked to the problem seemed to be resolved by uncompressing the private key using Bitaddress (or something similar) and then running through the import process again.
