No financial point for you and a tiny contribution to the stowage but you are definitely contributing to the resilience of the network. If the big players lose interest and switch off or even if they are just doing a mass upgrade all the nodes still running and especially ones with actual storage will be great to have around.
Since someone pointed out this is a hen I thought Iâd make it a proper cock pic - here you go
But it somehow lost a lot of its sole⌠StrangeâŚ
I donât know how long itâs been this way, but I just noticed on Metamask Portfolio, when I look at my transaction history weâre marked as spam.
Thanks for pointing this out. Andrew is going to look into it.
Because they are giving even small amount to more person its marked as spam token
Just to let everyone know BitMart does not let you export your trade history for the last year in a simple manner. You need to make a hand written note, pose with your ID and the note, and send a photos if your ID. Even though you are fully verified, KYCâd customer. And then they estimate it will take 1-3 days for them to get back at me, and Iâm not sure is this saga over then, or does it still continue. ![]()
The simple export works only for past 3 months max. and anything beyond that is a hassle.
Idk who this guy is but he told his 600k followers about us.
Can you tell him to be quiet my buy orders havenât filled yet ![]()
Iâm waiting for 1p to stock up ![]()
If it goes to 1p cash generator will be filled with all my possessions ![]()
If you are doing multimillion dollar exchanges you would want to use CEX to get a better rate, as many DEX will likely give you a worse exchange rate with that much capital. Also if you are doing a large order with a CEX you can go to their OTC desk which is how many large deals are done.
I have used DEX with Metamask a couple of times, maybe about a year ago. Not smooth at all:
- Connecting my Ledger nano S to Metamask has been a nightmare. I have spent hours, if not days browsing various forums and trying every sort of trick. I have finally gotten it to work, but for some weird reason, it works only on windows. And I donât know why it does, and why it didnât? Feels flimsy.
- Trading on Uniswap felt like a minefield. I donât remember what it was called, but there was some risk that someone else sees your swap, frontruns it and you end up losing money. You had to evaluate some âslippageâ or something like that, and it was not easy at all. Donât remember exactly, but somehow I ended up getting less than I was expecting.
CEXâs are just plain easy. You deposit your coins, set an offer at a certain price, wait a minute, day, month⌠and itâs sold/bought. If not, you just cancel and thatâs it. You withdraw your money.
Maybe Uniswap has gotten easier lately? After this shitshow with Bitmart tradehistory Iâm willing to try.
In general, both CEXâs and DEXâs, and actually everything âcryptoâ feels like a weird mixture of futurism and stone age. Somehow easy and free, but at the same time very contrived and clumsy. Itâs so not âthereâ yet.
I just wish for Autonomi with native currency to arrive and make everything whole ![]()
- Depending on model, Ledger should work on Linux and Mac too. Personally I only use a HW wallet for long term holdings or significant assets. When I want to do swaps I send it from the HW wallet to one of my MM hot wallets to do my purchases, swaps, and so on.
- There are various bots that can try to front run you, many wallets have something called âMEV Protectionâ which you need to select. Also as you mentioned set your slippage setting to something like .5-1%.
And yet, a day later, nobody bought. ![]()

This is the state of âcryptoâ right now, everybodyâs broke.
I have a suggestion, @neo , perhaps you could add to opening post most important links for tracking ANT price? Like BitMart , Uniswap, DexScreener, Coinmarketcap
If someone can post the links here and tag me then I will do it. I really donât know them
they are all posted in discord official links
Will we reach $1 before the end of the year?
Every day Iâm more concerned about the price stagnation⌠and the EU guidelines arenât positive for our project at allâŚ
No ubiquitous ANT demand yet. Not sure why. Iâm sure the resident denizens on here will be quick to opine on whatâs eating investorsâ interest. Maybe because MaidSafe took the easy route to centralized exchanges in the effort to kickstart things off and then the recent token mining emissions issue. As an almost 10-year investor myself and stuck because the then MAID token was de-listed and many exchanges refuse to allow transactions from the US, Iâll just HODL until sometime in the future when ANT becomes a tradeable commodity again with a GUI front end so dunderheads like me can actually use it as an alternative storage and web interface.
