What would be the best hardware wallet for autonimi coin for example?
Funny thing is i had my maidsafe coin in a hardware wallet for 8 years just the last yeari left autonomi on meta mask

Trezor, ledger and Ngrave come to mind. With trezor being opensource.
all of them are European brands. Which is something I strongly encourage nowadays.

Is there a tutorial on how to put Autonomi from Metamask on the Trezor Hardware wallet?
that be just making a transaction from one wallet to another, i donāt think youāll need a tutorial for this. If you do, thereās plenty of metamask tutorials on yt
Go to trezor-suite settings and select Coins and click on Arbitrum. Then click on add Account and select Arbitrum. Click on Receive and copy the received address, send to this address from MetaMask:

Couldnāt they just use the 12 word seed phrase and enter that into the Treaor as a new wallet?

MetaMask seeds are risky because they were created on an internet-connected device where hackers could have already seen them. Moving that seed to a Trezor is like putting a potentially stolen key into a high-tech safeāit doesnāt fix the original danger. For true security, you must generate a new seed directly on the Trezor so your āmaster keyā stays 100% offline and private.

After giving it a thought, Iād prefer to create a paper wallet for ANT on Arbitrum, but I canāt find a link to a website where I could do this offline. How can this be done?
keep in mind that a paper wallet will most likely still need some way of entering the seed into a tool to sign. I think itās possible to do it offline without a hardware wallet; but Iām personally unfamiliar with it.
also, please keep in mind that a paper wallet is extremely vulnerable to fire/flood damage etc. I would strongly recommend some sort of metal capsule or plate. (Iād recommend this with a hardware wallet too)

I donāt like seeds because they can be found.
My solution is multiple hardware wallets with the same seed. At least they lock.
I know this has holes but I feel more comfortable stashing hardware wallets than seeds.
You will need me and a big wrench, not just access to a safe or gps coordinates

Do not use sites under any circumstances. Download MetaMask on your phone and turn off the internet, generate a new seed in MetaMask, save it, look at the first address in it, save it, delete the data from MetaMask and enter the seed in it, look at the first address, if it is the same, delete MetaMask and turn on the internet on your phone, you can now send the tokens to the address.

Have a look at this site. It runs directly in the browser and can be run from a file off disk. Just save the page. It is maintained by Ian who consulted for Maidsafe at times and worked on key management.

- internet connection turned off
- Address created and backed up
- cache deleted
- Internet turned on again and then sent to the addresses

True, Iāve been using Shamir backups myself and store it in different locations to combat this.
