thats because technical progress on the project and what needs to happen to make the price go up are two completely seperate issues (yes, one is needed for the other, but its only a small part of the pie), and the rest is conveniently ignored
so we have the technical progress and thanks to the FUD brigade we now have the final piece of the puzzle a hardcore group of FUDâers to dump on the project at every opportunity next stop the moon
Oh - was that big unlock yesterday the last big increase on supply side and now there are some people freaking out here because they didnât fill their bags well enough for the now expected only to dry up supply side? Oo
Funny how this thread was rather silent lately (even after the price went down after the unlock at first if Iâm not mistaken) - and after the big unlock only caused a short lived flash crash and bounced back up itâs all doom and gloom here xD
How about just postponing the non fudding but super realistically estimating and talking about project state and success probability 2 weeks? I think after 10+ years that shouldnât make a difference
(or would that mess up the timing? Oo)
Constructive feedback is, and always has been, welcome. Bitching, moaning and FUD, on the other hand, are tolerated, despite their caustic nature.
If folks want change and people arenât listening, they should consider their argument and how it is presented.
I created a thread to highlight performance, when I was concerned about it.
I created AntTP, a http server for autonomi, as I felt the platform needed to be more accessible to the masses.
I created IMIM to illustrate content rich apps can run on top of AntTP too. Indeed, I also blogged about Autonomi, long before it could host the articles.
Recently, I created a POC for owned/transferable mutable types, to prove it could be done. This could form the basis of NFTs, native currency, DNS, emails/messages, etc. I felt it was important to see if that worked.
We know the journey has been long and winding. We know promises were made and some have not yet been delivered on. We know that may impact price.
The endless whinging and FUD will change little. Engage productively and it may just help to move things forward.
Succesful 51% attack on Monero. If autonomi gets popular, it will be the next target. The only way how to survive is to have huge marker cap and very large network.
One way to do it is to limit the number of nodes per entity, so node centralisation is not possible by default. It is a technological challenge to develop ways to make sure that every miner/farmer is a unique entity, but some ingenious ways are already being explored.
We have no intentions to register or link nodes to individuals. People are free to spin up nodes, I would deem trying to limit that as potential centralization concern.
Yes, but it seems that the main reason most people dislike the idea is more ideological than technical. Technology reflects the ideology of its developers. In this case, it appears to me that most crypto developers, whether involved in blockchain or not, advocate for decentralization except when it comes to the distribution or holding of money, or mining and farming power.
