AUTONOMI Token - Price & Trading topic

as much as fees are a pain I cannot understand this rush to native … the team already had a pretty good plan for native - it is pretty robust (even with known challenges like data forks on wild concurrency etc we’ve seen in the testnet phase) … the team focusing on data consistency, upload/download reliability and consistency (native payments are data too) is absolutely right and prioritizing APIs too is absolutely correct as well imho …

… in this moment of time I am glad we don’t need to care about the payment layer and can just focus on the rest of the network … uploading gigabytes of data and having it secured in a fully decentralized way as forever storage for a few bucks is already significantly more than any blockchain out there can deliver (!!!)
Why don’t we focus on the data layer + Applications now first …?
I’m using mainnet very actively (I’m pretty sure more active than 97% here) and even though I uploaded orders of magnitudes the data I generate per month in the last 14 days I just spent around 50 USD or so …

it’s a pity fees don’t go to node runners but fees don’t stop useful applications at this moment of time!

when btc started it was slower and significantly less useful than our current mainnet - imho the teams focus is absolutely right and we can get rid of the blockchain burden as soon as we’ve proven this tech has purpose and value … what does it help to rush to native and have people flood the network now with petabytes of data that needs to be taken care of the next months/years too while there are still not thousands of applications and millions of users … it’s a good thing to start small and it’s good that we have some over-capacity due to blockchain fees throttling uploads atm while the team fixes the most pressing issues …
