Being bound to blockchain toilet is major drawback adding so much cost to basic use (upload) of network.
Core tech is getting there, so next up the native token is the paramount need.
Cracking whip on @loziniak, how fast could you get to a MVP for a native token that can 1. bridge native token from/to ANT 2. send/receive native token? I’d lock/burn real ANT to begin flowing money into a solution even knowing it’s alpha and could be lost, just to get experimentation and evolution sped up.
At that point the team could evaluate it and maybe we start opting to accept mining rewards via native token instead of ANT. ANT value is preserved, native token is built up, team stops bleeding ETH for rewards payments.
I’d accept native for node rewards.
