I am a dunce my apologies to @MaxSan, @ambled and @Toivo, I was not keeping up with dweb and as such your issues were (most likely) that you were using an incompatible version of dweb to access Atlas.
I have updated Atlas and the image below is a brand new account just set up with dweb-cli 0.9.1
The fist run will take some time, it needs to create scratchpads. Much faster thereafter.
Just to clarify for anyone using Atlas, both parties must follow each other to see comments, reactions or votes.
They will not see what you say or how you react to their posts unless they follow you.
I am yet undecided if that is a feature or something to remedy.

OK, I downloaded v0.9.0 and restarted and was able to get in!

I couldnāt play the Deep Feelings Mix after multiple minutes of waiting, but BegBlag started playing within 60 seconds.

just tested deep feelings mix it works for me but I had to leave it to it for a few minnutes while it downloaded.
dweb does not have streaming yet so large file take a while and the movie night of the living dead probably wont play. but the file is there ready for testing when streaming comes to dweb

Yes I want to add size, so that people get an idea of what they are getting into before trying to play large files.

I just tried this on a small screen testing on Windows, sorry to anyone who does not use widescreen, my most humble apologies, it is fixed now but also get a widescreen
@aatonnomicc I packaged your install steps into a windows installer, added it in the OP. Worked for me on widows, great job and thanks for that.
Installer needs a bit of finessing, but it worksā¦

Sorry if this is obvious but how do I link Atlas to a wallet I have which has funds in it? I have it installed now and have imported the wallet into the ant client but when I launch Atlas I get this in the terminal for dweb:-
DEBUG /scratchpad-private POST failed to create scratchpad - Payment failure occurred during scratchpad creation.

You need to associate a private key with dweb for it to work. Youāll need some ETH on arbitrum, and some ANT.

if you have antup installed for latest pre release
antup client --version 0.4.2-rc.2
uploads are gas sensitive now so for uploading
time ant file upload -p --max-fee-per-gas market <YOUR FILE OR FOLDER>
take the file address not the archive and that is your address for sharing in atlas
