I will focus my posting on minds.com (The Dark Pill (@PhilosopherRex) | Minds) where I have the most real subscribers. I ran a paid boost there for last month and will get another started this week.
I think it would help if you had some updated FAQ on how to get going with this. I have browsed the forum and from that I have some nodes running on my server, I tried the sn_httpd and I found one or two sites from the forum that looks like test sites so there was nothing of value there. I have not yet tried the CLI but that seems to be just uploading and downloading specific files. Is there an index site or search site to get in to the network that I am missing?
Its a super interesting concept but I still dont really see the current use case for non-developers. In order to push this on social media there must be some actual content for normal people to see the appeal?
Of all my acquaintances who are currently actively involved in the network, only one is a developer.
Everyone else is literally the most ordinary people with minimal computer knowledge (with the caveat that 99% without 1 or 2 are in the crypto world).
Everyone is busy farming tokens with available or specially bought computers or upgraded old ones with more ram or a more powerful processor.
I have been saying for years and my experience from the last 7 months beta confirms it that in the first months-years the network users will be crypto people and farmers.
The main arguments I’ve had with Jim and other respected gentlemen here is that data will be the most valuable thing people will come for, and while I agree that with a successful network there will be a point in time when that becomes true, I don’t believe that’s will be in the next 5 years.
The reality is that the people waiting for the solution provided by Autonomi can be counted on the fingers, for which it is enough to look at how many people use the entire industry of decentralized products in the world.
The common man does not wait for such a product and uses the available products of Google, Facebook, etc. Literally, the common man never thought that he needed such a solution.
My personal hope is that farming will open the doors to a whole new world for all of these people, and I personally plan to continue to promote mainly node running until there are other proven successful methods of attracting new people.

There is an app with the code name DAVE, it will bring Dropbox/Cloud storage backup functionality. DAVE might be released today or coming days. This month is the beginning of a new decentralised internet. So it is currently aimed towards early adopters who want to try new things, people which like new tech, devs and people which likes good investments.
There are several interesting projects working on different apps and tools but they need the coming API to come to life, which will come any day now.
For the network to be populated with apps then you will have to wait until months after launch. So this is the time to get the people know about that the network will launch even if it will take awhile before the most common people will look for the need to use the network.
I have an embarrassingly low number of followers on X, but I’m doing what I can. It would be great to see more posts from the community using #Autonomi. Looking back over the past few days, I’m seeing too many of my own posts, and I’m starting to feel like I might come across as a bot.
Edit: is #Autonomi even what we want? What would be the most helpful or effective approach here? I don’t really know - I’m not much of a poster on socials @Gill_McLaughlin, @rusty.spork what do you think?
