I does, and did for me too, but once I bite the bullet, it’s not that bad. I just learned to use Ledger hardware wallet and Metamask in a few hours.
There was all kind of hassles of updating firmware etc. but nothing totally unexpected. Just the usual stuff that makes me hate the “cryptoland” so much. But now that I have that hardware wallet working… a sigh of relief, truly.

Has anybody added eMAID to a Ledger wallet?
I assume you just need to add the token contract, but I thought I’d check…

I have, just yesterday. But I don’t remember how exactly, because it was so easy. Metamask and/or Ledger live almost walked me through it.

No, that would be two parties making a sale directly, or via a trusted party/escrow.
Another option not mentioned—as you allude to—is some sort of exchange system build directly on the Network stack.
I’m sure that would be super useful, and of course earn the developer a share of royalties. An opportunity for sure!

I have mine on a Ledger.
Just send ERC20 coins to an ETH address on the Ledger and it appears on Ledger Live. I don’t think I had to add anything of eMAID to show up, but I’m sure it’d only be adding the contract address and ticker if needed.

For both of you eMAID shows in Ledger Live without needing to add the token? And that’s not metamask connected to the Ledger, but Ledger Live? Reading around it sound like you need to connect metamask to see unsupported tokens

I see it in Ledger Live, but if I remember right, I did add the token from some sort of list. No copy-pasting of anything, or any hassles for sure.

I see it in Ledger live, and if I had to add anything, it was easy. Sending is also easy - just select the address, then the asset to send.
Certainly nothing to worry about.

How long does it take the omniwallet.org to credit maid? I see an unconfirmed transaction(but doesn’t say MAID) showing but otherwise there’s no MAID listed under the address assets at omniwallet.org. It’s been over an hour

After enough confirmations have occurred. Those confirmations are for the BTC transaction that the OMNI transaction is encoded within. OMNI tokens (transactions actually) exist on the BTC blockchain within the data packet that every BTC transaction has.
