Well, there’s a chance those who figured out how to update the node without it being fully restarted may be getting a bigger share of rewards, which could mean the 4m nodes figure is still quite accurate.
Can anyone who used that method to upgrade nodes confirm whether that is the case, or did thise nodes’ rewards also drop off in-line with what others are seeing?
Last time I checked what @Mightyfool stated he was getting with his node count against what I am getting with my node count and both figures matched at earnings per node. And indicated a network size of around 5 million nodes.
They are according to the announcement in discord. I gather it was just the initial implementation that was for the one version because of the large important change it was
It seems like the emissions per node are still varied. Thats still 3-4x more than I’m receiving.
My restart script does stop all nodes, then slowly relaunches them over several hours, which could be impacting. Originally, it was to ease the load on the network, but maybe it actually punishes the nodes now?
Maybe I need to restart each node one at a time, on the same schedule.
Hmm, I restarted nodes on 2 or 3 of my boxes last night, in case it made a difference, and my 24h reward has jumped to 5 ANT. I dunno what to make of that. It seems more inline with yours again @Dimitar .
Could be the others just getting ‘older’ or maybe the new nodes are better positioned? Seems a little hard to fathom.
Is this consistent? 40 every day? mine is far from consistent.
For instance on 13500 nodes, the last 3 days 30, 40, 20 for an average over 3 days of 0.0066 per node.
If yours is consistent I have some investigating to do.
