What’s up today? (Part 2)

Putting everything in one bucket is such a convincing argument, to some. To those who crave simplicity because dealing with complexity is uncomfortable and much more difficult.

Some crave simplicity because they feel complexity is unnecessary. I’d say this project falls into this category. Always looking for simpler solutions to very complex problems.

What do you think is more uncomfortable, dealing with complexity or admitting to yourself that the majority of what you were told the last 3 years was wrong?

The other networks in the US, which lie more incessantly than fox and repeat CIA narratives, said the election wasn’t stolen.

I rest my case.

Too bad Dominion didn’t ask for more than 1.6 billion. Looks like a slam dunk. Fox News is just Alex Jones on steroids and bound to get their comeuppance just like Jones. To all the “whatabouters” out there: Fox and Jones are unlike any other news organizations I’ve seen in the U.S.; they are blatantly and knowingly slanderous on a monumental scale, and to let Fox slide on this one would only serve to promote a wider swath of reckless and harmful “news” dissemination.

Tireless unkillable all-terrain camera-mounted wifi-connected robot dogs will soon be hunting down poor people on the US border.

When will we take a moment’s “paws” and ask ourselves, what are we actually doing here?

No but seriously, don’t read the article, unless you’re hungry for more laboured puns like that one there, heavily steeped in stupefying amounts of military buzz-words. Payloads, smart uses of resources, quadruped mechanical reinforcements, automated ground surveillance vehicles, innovative technologies, ugggggh.

Wonder if this can also be used with the SAFE Network in the future?

Apparently AI can now read our brainwaves.

Here, we propose a new method based on a diffusion model (DM) to reconstruct images from human brain activity obtained via functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

We show that our proposed method can reconstruct high-resolution images with high fidelity in straightforward fashion, without the need for any additional training and fine-tuning of complex deep-learning models.

This ESG stuff is really pushing to break the economy.

First they came for the artificial fertilizer; I didn’t speak up because I didn’t use artificial fertilizer.

Then they came for the gas and limited my use of electricity; I didn’t speak up because I was conned into believing the world was in danger from a gas I exhale.

Then they came for the cows and milk. I didn’t speak up because I didn’t raise them. But then I could no longer afford it at the store.

Then they subsidized the processing of bug products as food; I didn’t speak up because I didn’t eat cricket flour … well, I do now.

Then they came for me … because I had a home garden and eventually they decided I wasn’t qualified to grow food that met their health standards.

Now I eat the bugs and I’m freezing, unhappy and unhealthy.

Why didn’t I speak up?

If there was any doubt about Trumps political dominance in the US … it seems we can put those doubts to rest.

That’s like doing a poll at a Trump rally so it’s not a reasonable conclusion IMO. DeSantis seems to be being canny, didn’t turn up at CPAC but is building broader name recognition by focusing on his book tour. Long way to go yet.

I disagree. CPAC is a pretty good representation of US republican sentiment. DeSantis is a firm #2, but as long as Trump is in the race, I see no way that anyone can beat him for the nomination.

Unbelievable :flushed:

The Republican party, now, is very disjointed. Hard to say any get-together represents the party.
