What’s up today? (Part 2)

The difference was that this did not drive the fundamentals that was being aimed for.

But if we model now the network after partners then it moves away from a network for the people to a network for those with the money.

Now I am not saying that this is what is happening at the moment and I see no plans to make the base level data a paid for asset. But to implement that is to just turn the network into a different way of implementing the current internet model.

I personally do not see the new partner as a move to the network being changed to accommodate them.

Open source or not, that is only affecting how users can see the project/code. We will have plenty of APPs implemented on Autonomi that will not be open source and for a number of reasons.

As to assisting them to use Autonomi at this time, I also see no problems (depending on amount). The reason being is that the network is unproven and why would someone spend a lot of time and money to use Autonomi prior to it being proven. So if the Foundation is assisting with tokens for uploading valuable data to help “prime” the network is appropriate. Obviously the extent might change my view. But I expect it to happen

It would also be a broken network if freedom were not achieved.

If the network let’s people do what they want with their data, if some build applications that let people monetise that data, that’s fine, and inevitable in a network that has freedom at its core.

If freedom is a fundamental of the network, the ability to monetise data is fundamentally possible for those who want to.

There will be diverse uses of the network, and partnerships should reflect that IMO. I see significant overlap in the values of Autonomi and the first partner announced.

If you read what i said, at the base level then its a broken network since there is no freedom to not do it, is there.

At least if the base network has no restrictions built in (IE NO pay per chunk built in) then APPs can build on that to either have pay for or free. And the web can be free to browse like in the fundamental of the network. Basically if you want that freedom removed and have non free to browse as the norm then build the network for that

Just discovered these guys:

https://www.ludlowinstitute.org/

Naomi Brockwell is the President and Founder &
Phil Zimmerman (PGP creator) is one of their advisers, so seems legit. Might be a good partner somehow.

“these guys” should be “this person”. This “institute” is just a promotional vehicle for one person - Naomi Brockwell - and her, primarily it seems, youtube videos?

They might be good videos, she could be a wonderful person, and reaching out to her might be a good idea. But you’re buying in to the word “institution” and the “advisors” a little bit very strongly

This message is brought to you by the JayBird Institute of Dastardly Details.

Its my goto think tank for inconvenient facts and factoids.

I look forward to the day it becomes an Institution.

Hopefully with a lot more more gravitas and standing than the likes of the Institute for the Study of Warfare ISW and the Royal United Services Institution RUSI.

Might have gone with my heart over my head with my vote but hope Tyson lands one right on his jaw, sick of this idiot thinking he is an elite level boxer then ends up fighting mma fighters. Only genuine boxer he’s fought and he’s shi#e was Tommy fury and he lost easily.

At 20 years, four months and 22 days old, he was the youngest heavyweight champion ever. Tyson has not fought professionally since he lost to Kevin McBride in the sixth round in 2005. He is 58 years old .

I voted for Paul as that makes the most sense to me from a physical fitness standpoint. Age is a killer for athletes.

That said, this whole thing might just be a set-up, where Paul takes a dive. Everyone loves a comeback story and it drives betting - and so drives $$ for those willing to take the knee - especially so if they have, or pretend they have, a big ego - as none would believe they’d take the knee, which further drives the betting odds and so profits when they do. There has always been a lot of theater in Boxing for this reason.

But people buy into it over and over and over again.

Anyone else rush to be ready for the 8pm fight only to get rugged :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Just returning to give the requisite “I told you so”.

  :man_bowing:

Of course I covered my bases by saying:

Happy to have been wrong on that point.

:beers:

Want my granny to waste scammers their time, but also want to get paid for being called by scammers.

Still, more rewarding doing this yourself? For instance someone is calling, one of those ‘Sir-I’m-calling-you-from-Windows-characters’ …

It’s Ascension Day, not for him?

… the tomb - he knew about this, didn’t he - secured earlier by a large stone covering the entrance and a posted guard but hacked anyway. No clue as to what had happened to JC?

Caller:

Sir, are you in front of your computer?

Polite

No, I’m sorry but actually I’m preparing “hachee”, was he familiar with this particular dish? Early yes but it has to simmer for a good two hours or it won’t be as tender as …

‘PSTN call termination’:

In the Netherlands this tone can be recognized by 425Hz
for 500ms with an interruption of also 500ms.

The disturbing part, is that the caller can be scammer millennial AI talking to my granny AI, keeping my line busy for hours. Only the 10 MAID per second would be rewarding…

We are probably just a AI request away from getting a burner number, AI answerer and receiving MAID to get called.
