Already 16 posts above.

Anyway they did not show much technical details.

I did another Teletubby action, but here is the link.

SEC FinTech Forum live.

https://www.sec.gov/fintech-forum/index.html

The letter, which was shared with GCHQ officials on May 22, 2019, responds to a proposal by two GCHQ officials for “silently adding a law enforcement participant to a group chat or call.” This proposal would allow intelligence or law enforcement agents to secretly join encrypted chats as “ghost” users, and would require providers to suppress normal notifications to users.

GCHQ and other agencies are in for a shock.

SAFEnetwork needs to have a minimum viable product out ASAP.

… and does maidsafe have a continuation/contingency plan for any variety of black swan disruptions?

There are a wide range of nationalities on this forum, and I hope soon on a forum on the SAFEnetwork, that could help with an escape plan.

There are places a stone’s throw from Scotland that don’t have extradition agreements,

But! Some of these countries that claim they don’t have extradition agreements have the biggest US bases and activities, which puts you at risk of kidnap.

Cross reference with list of countries that have US military bases…

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2015/06/us-military-bases-around-the-world-119321

So… people… if you needed to escape, where would you go and what would your plan be?

I think this is an interesting thought experiment that warrants its own topic. Sadly, I personally don’t think there is any place in the world that is safe from regimes with access to modern satellites and drone technology. If and when the current draconian regimes fall, new ones will replace them. Like the vast majority of people in the world, I’m neither a terrorist/freedom fighter nor a survivalist. But I am a realist/pessimist.

I’d like 2 topics.

  1. How to escape unfair extradition and flee.
  2. Given your newfound unlimited wealth, cross boarder wealth, how would you escape/&or counter, in the unfortunate event, that the far right continue to rise in Europe or elsewhere.

Would appreciate advice on number 2.

If you create those topics, I will gladly participate in the discussion.

Call me a coward, but my method is staying low, at least whenever my public identity is known. There’s not much an individual can do against state actors at the moment.

Feel free to call me one too. “Cowards” tend to live longer than “heroes”. Standing up against governments like those of Russia, North Korea and the US is like standing up against a Mexican cartel. Best case scenario - you die quickly.

I’m all for standing up against them but, in today’s world, one can get farther by smarts than by bravery. I wish I was smart.
