What’s up today? (Part 1)

I’m beginning to see the SAFENetwork everwhere.
This image caught my eye.

Apparently that ICP project lasted all of 45 days or so. Hate to see a project like this called a scam just because it could look bad on similar (but real technology) in the future.

WEF wants to play a big role in future online censorship … For our safety of course.

Personally, I will be surprised to see that level this year. Of course Max is a big hodler and promoter, so, large grains of salt. Talks about current goings on with BTC as well - overall a fun listen for me.

Old money scared of new money.

Feels like the UK is slowly turning a tap off.

UK is doing it wrong - and is going to be left behind. Unless the treasury is buying bitcoin in secret.

Is it the UK or that bank.
Santander are similar, you can’t withdraw from an exchange to them, been that way for years.

Peter McCormick is always talking about how his bank closed his account. That was Lloyds I think. Now he is working with his sponsor Revolut for banking

We had a prime minister of Australia disappear in the Ocean when swimming there back in the 1960’s. These happen. Maybe too much drink from his riches and then go swimming, too many people die that way. Or it could be foul means

Good article on link rot and content drift. If only someone were working on a permanent web :grinning:

Batshit mass surveillance coming to UK: “That’s the danger if the government follows through on its wonky idea that — on the Internet — ‘safety’ means security must be replaced with blanket surveillance in order to ‘keep kids safe’.” (Cleaned link):

I wonder what kind of opportunity Safe Network could provide to the Coinbase app store? Not sure what extent of apps and if they will have permissions to the users device or if it would be more like ‘manage your Safe through Coinbase’?

Anyone have more info or ideas on this news?

Decent article about content drift and link rot. I am assuming the author is not aware of Safe Network (maybe we should reach out) but references the old Xanadu project.

Holt was troubled with Australian involvement in Vietnam. Four Pm’s later the CIA organized a coup and kicked out Whitlam for getting Australia out of Vietnam. I guess the jury will always be out on this one.

It was more a co-incidence of events in my opinion. Gough was going to be oust by one means or another. I also remember the Premier of QLD also leading a band to oust him too.

Coincidence is common in life, but I prefer to assume conspiracy first when it comes to power. Action → reaction. Generally speaking, if I’m wrong, not much harm; If I’m right, then forewarned is forearmed.
