What’s up today? (Part 1)

Seems like we need #SAFENetwork in Scotland right now

Interesting - but given the source for these miraculous findings I’d take the whole thing with a VERY large pinch of non-kosher salt.

Some remarkably clear analysis of the Craig Murray case here. It benefits from being able to take a somewhat wider view of the case rather than the local, more partisan comment we have in the current Scottish twit/blogosphere

I thought this was decent and gives some perspective on how the outside world sees the project. I found the link on twitter:

Nice. Shows how important it is to keep the website up to date.

How much effort do you think will take to add to the roadmap a link to the latest dev update, each week? And can the community do it?

Currently the roadmap is up to date, so that’s good, but it wasn’t when that guy tried which led to some confusion.

Linking to the dev update won’t really help, a) because people looking at a roadmap want instant information without having to follow a link, and b) because the dev updates require too much prior knowledge. Really, it just needs a schedule for someone to update it every month or so.

Did you watch his video? The man read the date 2020 from the road map and was left with the impression that the project was dead. An up-to-date date can give a very strong social signal to new people, not everyone will think to check Twitter or Facebook to see that we are alive. For this I think that just one link with a date in the title will be enough (if it is not difficult to add).

Yeah I watched it, that’s why I commented! Additional links just add to the confusion IMO, whereas a quick update to the actual page shouldn’t take too long, particularly if scheduled in. And of course, a ‘last updated’ date should be there too.

Here’s a nice little app that would sit well on Safe, an ingeniously simple personal activity tracker:

Took the plunge and minted my first NFT! It’s called Proof of Work, and it’s the first piece in a collection I’m calling “Consensus”. Eventually I’ll create one for Proof of Resource.
