They do include a safety warning in their install guide for google home to “warn vistors that their conversations may be recorded” which one assumes could be listened to

If I understand it correctly: they don’t have a warning (or choice) that your recordings could be listened to at the moment. They certainly didn’t ask explicitly permission for this and this is not OK (GDPR). Google can expect legal actions against this practice in Belgium.

I don’t suggest to take investment advice from anybody whose track record you’re not familiar with. Even then, be wary of overly stable performance as that may imply hidden exposure to large sudden losses.

It’s noteworthy in that they went to the US SEC for approval before launching their ICO, which is a first and may be an indication of things to come. As to whether it’s a good buy or not I don’t know, but for investors I I’m sure it will provide reassurance that they won’t be wiped out by ending up on the wrong side of the utility - security devide.
POTUS just tweeted out he is not a fan of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies including libra and the USD is the best currency. That seems rly dumb… you are going to piss off a big corp like FB and small guys that are into crypto. Well I rly don’t think he has a chance of reelection anyways.

Not the most current news (about a month old), but possibly worth noting that the MaidSafe logo is on the front cover of Normal Books 2019 Standard Catalogue of Cryptocurrencies, along with what I guess are 25 of the author’s top pics.
I’m not sure how popular the book is. Looks interesting, except for the high postage cost, at least if delivering to the UK.
