Afrikaans is indeed (one of) the easiest language(s) to learn for native English speakers. So that was a typical teenage thing that Le Roux did there. Ps: look up ‘Die Antwoord’ on Youtube at your own risk for a mix of Afrikaans and English. Edit: Jack Parow is a better example.

Personally I would love for him to be.
Perhaps it’s not a beautiful clean and romantic start for Bitcoin but it would certainly show that great things do not only come from developed western countries and there is a huge need to collaborate and network with all people in this world.

What these morons can’t understand is that the ratio of actual cases is so small v.s. the ratio of false positives that practically all results will be false positives. In other words, it’s completely useless for predicting anything, but it will result in large-scale harassment of innocent people, and that may well be the definition of a police state.
Moreover, it’s one thing when people from the street can’t understand this but it’s unacceptable when people whose job is to understand this can’t. This includes not only the engineers who built this crap, but also those who endorse them.
Finally, here’s a fun way to stop shootings: drastically restrict gun ownership. It totally works all over the planet (I won’t respond to arguments to the contrary, sorry) and it counts as a radical idea only in the US where “freedom” is perversely defined as the right to carry lethal force (v.s. crazy ideas like not having to die due to insufficient funds to buy insulin).
