I find it more telling that you must have an active TPM 2.0 if you want to install Windows 11. It has been a while so I did a quick search for “Trusted Platform Module” on a few different search sites including the supposed privacy first rebel ones, and interestingly at least for me did not get any hits in the first few pages about the grave dangers to human rights presented by this technology as used to make top spot in years past. Filed under “scrubbing the search engines of dissent”, I suppose. Of interest to the SN because even after downloading “non-approved” content it would not actually be possible to open it.
