Pretty amazing stuff. If (maybe a big if) the attosecond photonic transistor (mentioned at the end) comes to pass Moore’s law will continue apace for some time.
Continuing the CLI reimagining, this would be the third video. The vision for the future of CLI has a purpose: a common language to interact with AGI. This guy… truly is something else:
Louis Rossmann has been deplatformed because of his greyjay app.
YT doesn’t like its monopoly threatened.
Hope this is a Barbra Streisand event.
I noticed when trying to comment on videos and inform creators about greyjay, that you can follow creators not platforms YT immediately removes all references to grey jay.
I expect the same treatment once we are live.
We need to support Louis, we need to promote greyjay.
I looked it up, android only it seems - and I don’t use my phone for video’s.
I figured out a while ago how to pull the XML feed from youtube channels though - so I can simply watch video’s with my feed reader. I suppose this app does something similar?
YT introduced a while ago a rule that other platforms cannot be directly promoted. IE you cannot use their platform to advertise directly another competing platform.
Most business don’t allow this sort of advertising, so while I agree that YT is too controlling etc, I cannot really blame them for this.
Safe will be a great platform for creating an alternative where everybody owns their own videos.
That’s what I’m in love with recently. DisCOs, Distributed Cooperative Organizations. Alternative to DAOs, in a anti-capitalistic way, through commons and p2p, and alternative approach to economy and taking care of local communities and environment.
One of the criticisms of the EO discussed in the All-In-podcast was that it is worded too broadly - such that a lot of software that’s not strictly AI could now be regulated. This might even apply to the Safe Network.
So IMO, it’s bad and we need that safe-git-hub sooner than later.
Nice short report of the recent efforts by governments to suppress legit research that goes against their narratives:
“The science about climate change is settled, right? We’re reassured by the media again and again that there is almost complete unanimity when it comes to the question of whether changes in the climate are caused by humans. And we’re also told there’s so much consensus that anyone who says otherwise isn’t a real scientist, but a “climate change skeptic” just trying to muddy the pristine waters of settled science. In this episode of America Uncovered, we look at the sun’s role in global warming, why so many human-caused-climate-change proponents don’t want to look at this data, and how they’re trying to discredit climate scientists who are looking at factors that question the human-caused climate-change narrative.”
