I think it is good to have a dedicated topic for upload problems.

I got an error I haven’t seen before. Though I have to admit that I haven’t been trying to upload that much lately:

Paying for 52 chunks..
Error: 
   0: Failed to upload file
   1: Failed to upload file
   2: Error occurred during payment.
   3: Cost error: NotEnoughNodeQuotes { content_addr: baca17(10111010).., got: 4, required: 5 }
   4: Not enough node quotes for baca17(10111010).., got: 4 and need at least 5

Have you tried the latest version? You may have more luck with that, judging by the download improvements (I’ve not had chance to try uploads yet!).

Iv tried a small txt file it failed with not enough quotes.
Hopefully we get enough nodes upgraded for the benefits of the latest releases to filter through to uploads :slight_smile:

I have, and it has worked much better for files ranging from few kB to about 15MB. Even the archive step, that was guaranteed to fail earlier, has been working. It sometimes needs a couple retrials, but much better anyway. :+1:

With about 250MB file I got the error I reported.

Yeah, I’m so looking forward to that. I actually think that it would be great to get another release soon, no matter how minor, just to push the older versions out of rewards :wink:
