Hey guys, the long-awaited upgrade to the chunk upload pricing contract is now live! This means that upload prices will now dynamically adjust based on the network’s utilization, bringing dramatically higher upload rewards for participants.
As we mentioned earlier, this marks a major improvement for the network, ensuring a more fair and sustainable pricing model. It’s an exciting time to be a part of the network, and we can’t wait to see how this change impacts the ecosystem!
I had a failed directory upload trying to test the new pricing. See discord bug-reports
Trying a single file now and … its just failed after 22mins

None of this is particularly encouraging with TGE imminent…
How many tokens should 1 node expect to earn in a day? Roughly, like 0 to 1 tokens, or 1 to 10 tokens? I don’t really know what the expectation of tokens per node should be right now.
After the node settles, does some early chores like relay of copies, which can take 24 hours, 0 to 1 is normal, per day, currently given the current faucet upload throughput capabilities. It will all change after TGE, when the faucets switch to incentive to run nodes rewards, and Dave client uploaders kick in, as well serious node operators running their own cli uploaders doing their thing, it’s anyone’s guess.
