Just curious if there is an updated roadmap? Are we still on track to release in September?
If there is any authoritative word on this it will come via @JimCollinson or @Bux
You will not get peep out of the dev team as they are working towards that goal.
Last i heard in the last week they are still working towards that date.
Don’t expect a polished system at launch, but at launch it will be usable with simple interfaces.
This topic can only be speculation beyond “they are still at this time working towards the announced launch date, and they will lets us know in an announcement if or when that changes”

Will it remain completely open source?

Thats the plan. The Maidsafe company will not even exist after launch and the foundation will take over. They are setup to keep it opensource
