Source of Truth for NFT Claims

Hi Guys,

Following some threads and more than fair requests, please find on this link, a ‘source of truth’ in regards to the NFTs (for those eligible) that can be used from today to claim ANT.

Very willing and happy to add more content to this (it’s a live link so will auto update), as new questions and queries come in, but hopefully this gives a good starter for 10 to get folks on the same page!

Thanks very much,

Bux

Thanks @Bux, great to see this information regarding the NFT claiming publicly available.

And if I read the document correctly, claiming 50% of your ANT is now possible through this website: https://claims.autonomi.com/ and the other 50% in August (do we have a date for that as well? assuming it’s already locked inside a smart contract)

question, is autonomi planning to add liquidity and or hiring a mm firm to absord some of the sell pressure following a sudden supply increase?

There is currently only $36K in USDC liquidity on the buyside

It is, you’re right, and it’s all in the smart contract already - but while we have an exact date, I wasn’t 100% on it (just want to confirm with Lajos), so will put that in as soon as he does!

The Foundation has an MM, but we cannot and don’t want to stop people who want to leave now the train/plane it’s ready to go. Putting analogy to one side - folks will still have connection to the network with their remaining 50%, so putting liquidity and open market doing its thing aside - they’re still likely going to be better off, the better the network does, and so supporting the network to grow feels like a smarter move here (especially after waiting all this time already) … I guess we’ll see

August 10th - 90 days from today.

Thanks Bux! Appreciate the clarity and I think many within the community do too.

@Bux On discord someone mentioned: “timestamp in contract says created 11 feb 14:00 GMT (+90days vesting)”

That would mean claiming opens in 4,5 hours from now. If that’s the case, you should probably mention that in the document (and for the august 10 as well).

Have updated, thanks Mighty.

It is said that MaidSafe will not cease operations, but will continue to operate and people holding shares will be able to expect future payments from the company’s eventual profits. Is this true?

MaidSafe has some runway left, so it will use that to support the network get into the best possible shape, which, as MaidSafe shareholders are also token holders of network via their ANT allocation, means the objective of the company (which should aim to deliver value to it’s shareholders) of creating: “A highly accessible and inspiring place to be connected with”

Also fully supports The Autonomi Foundation’s objective: “To support the ongoing adoption, development and health of Autonomi”

Hi @Bux - it looks like I may need some ETH within my wallet to enable the ANT to be claimed. Can you please confirm if this is the case? It makes sense that I would but I don’t see this being communicated at any point hence the question. Thanks

Shockingly easy process, with exception of the fact I don’t have any ETH. Well done.

Yes you need ETH on the Arbitrum blockchain to claim it to pay the gas/transaction fee.

Can I suggest you update your shareholder comms to reflect this. I’m not aware this was ever mentioned and obtaining ETH will add significant complexity to many MaidSafe shareholders, many of whom are not crypto savvy. Thank you!

Further to my message above, I have moved ETH to my account but the transaction still doesn’t process due to insufficient ETH. Do you have ETH in the wallet that is sending the ANT and that is causing the issue?

It is typically the sender that pays that fees.

You pay for the transaction. You must have Ethereum on the Arbitrum network. The last transaction cost less than 1 cent in Eth gas:

in theory the NFT emitter may have invested those 100x 1 cent to make it easier for the claimer

(I thought it was around 100 nfts - wasn’t it?)

ps:
yes and sorry - I know it’s easy to talk clever in retrospective xD

There are over 500, some have no argument for tokens, I don’t know what they are doing…
