I eventually was successful in the first step z the verification and, like you, indicated I was not interested in availing myself of their other products - and that is where I am stuck - still no access to my account. It is a most unpleasant feeling that one is at the mercy of a bunch of crooks, taking delight in exerting arbitrary power over one. Most worrying and frustrating.
Great to hear this.
It would be nice if we could form a cohort here and tackle BTTF as a united bunch of investors - hopefully withe the support of David (Irvine) and team.
Not sure what you are meaning here as it doesn’t seem to relate to how shares work.
You will have shares in the SPV and as such own a portion of the SPV. There isn’t something to remove here, you are a part owner of the SPV according to the number of shares you own (compared to the total number). To get out of the SPV you would sell your shares in the SPV.
The SPV as a company owns the Maidsafe shares and cannot just hand a SPV shareholder (eg you) some of the Maidsafe shares that it owns.
Not sure if that answers your question or if I misread it.
What is the overall market for Maidsafe shares (this SPV aside)? Could part of the issue for BTTF simply be liquidity? If someone wants to sell their portion of the shares in the SPV, who buys them?
I expect that this would work itself out later down the road when Maidsafe has profitable products and so shares have a solid marketable value.
Many thanks for the reply.
If needs be (lets wait a few days) I will attempt to pull us together and approach them (BTTF) as a group.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks for your post - - - we are in similar positions, except I am further down the line - passed verification (step 1) but still can’t access my portfolio.
Can we stay in contact - we have more chance of resolution if we co-operate to take on BTTF?
Simon has been quite vocal on Twitter against the Mashinsky scammer. If his company does not respond in a normal time, my advice is to go to his Twitter and post a complaint under his posts and then share it here so we can like and retweet it: https://twitter.com/SimonDixonTwitt
I tried to login to bnktothefuture now and it’s fine, however I’ve been doing my update on this site for many years. Every year I try to login to see if everything is fine and I always have to do some kind of update, send more documents, utility bill, upgrade to tier N or something. Today they asked me to reset my password and accept new terms and conditions.
There’s always something you have to do with bnktothefuture to be granted site access. I hope everything ends ok with this.
